Large Square Silo
The square silos maximize bulk material storage where available installation space is limited. They offer 20–25% more storage capacity than circular silos within the same footprint. The enclosed structure accommodates large volumes of dry bulk solids such as powders, granules, and even larger bulk materials. The silos also protect stored materials against moisture and controlling dust escape. Each silo system can be configured around the characteristics of the stored material, required discharge method, available plant space and foundation load capacity. We offer our clients greater flexibility to integrate high-capacity storage directly into their existing production and material handling processes. - A dense orthogonal steel stiffener network increases structural rigidity and resistance to the high lateral pressure and eccentric loads generated by heavy bulk materials.
- Four-corner hoppers with flanged outlets allow the product move downwards with the force of gravity, along with direct connection to downstream feeders, screw conveyors or pneumatic conveying lines.
- Multiple storage chambers can be combined for simultaneous storage of different materials, multi-point discharge and continuous batching processes.
- High-strength bolted construction eliminates on-site welding, while wall panels and structural sections can be flat-packed into standard containers for more economical international shipping.
