Bolted Cement Silo
The bolted cement silos are manufactured in modular panel sections that makes large-capacity powder storage easier to transport, install and relocate. Instead of shipping the silo as a complete welded structure, the silo is divided into prefabricated steel panels that can be packed for transportation and assembled on site with high-strength bolts. Bolted panel silos have proven to be practical choice for overseas projects and sites where equipment may need to be relocated. Available in capacities from 50 to 2,000 tons, our bolted tanks can be configured for the storage of cement, fly ash, ground granulated blast-furnace slag (GGBFS), lime and other bulk powder materials. Silo capacity and configuration can also be customized according to specific storage and project requirements.
- High-strength Q235B steel construction with optimized plate thickness for different load sections; rated for Force 12 winds and seismic intensity up to Level 8.
- Reliable EPDM seals, high-strength Grade 8.8 or 10.9 bolts and sealed panel joints prevent powder leakage and moisture ingress.
- Shot-blasted components with industrial primer and topcoat; optional hot-dip galvanizing provides additional corrosion resistance.
- Top-mounted pulse-jet dust collector filters displaced air during silo filling and reduces dust emissions.
- Pressure relief valve protects the silo against excessive positive or negative internal pressure.
- Optional radar level measurement with high and low-level alarms provides convenient material level monitoring.
